Do you engrave with a machine?

Our engraving services are done by hand with a quiet and portable rotary tool (the one we use is a Mystisa 2 from Inkmethis). Being compact and battery powered, engravings can even be done on-site at events with minimal set up! Keep in mind that being a hand-created item, the result will not look as "uniform" as an item engraved by a laser machine, but because it’s done by an artist, the result is much more beautiful and truly unique!

What can be hand engraved?

Anything metal, glass, stone, or even some plastics can be engraved, as long as the item is not pressurized. This includes liquor/wine bottles, perfume/cologne bottles, cosmetics, plastic coated tumblers (Yeti, Corkcicle, etc), glassware, candles, etc. If you're unsure about an item, reach out!

How much does engraving cost?

Costs will vary based on number of words and complexity of the design/image. Once you submit your booking, we will follow up with a confirmation on the engraving details and price, so please provide as much information as possible! Ballpark pricing is $50/item, and a silver/gold filling of the word(s)/design is included.

How does the engraving order process work?

Once you fill out a form, you will receive a follow up from us confirming the details. In terms of getting the item to us for the engraving, you can request that we order the item ourselves or you can ship it to us. We are flexible and can work with what’s easiest and preferred for you. Once we have the item(s) in hand, we engrave the designs and then ship them back to you. A 7-10 day turnaround can be expected once the item is in hand, but rush orders can be discussed as well.

What should I get engraved on my item?

You can get as creative as you want! Common engravings are celebratory phrases, special dates, names and/or initials, or meaningful messages. Images and designs can be done as well! If there’s something you’re unsure about, reach out anyway and we can always discuss options.

Why should I get an item engraved?

Engraving is a wonderful way to permanently personalize an item. When a design or message is etched into a surface, an everyday item can be turned into a special keepsake, or a gift can become even more unique and memorable.
